| For Prince Charlie Jackets, measure length from the nape of the neck to waist, just above top of hips. | | B: Chest | Measure loosely around chest at under arm height while wearing a shirt/vest (no jacket), with arms by the sides. Do not inflate the chest | | C: Waist | Measure around waist above hip bone while wearing a shirt/vest (no jacket) | D: Half Back
| Measure from centre back, centre seam on a well fitting jacket at 6" below the bottom of the collar to shoulder seam, arms by the sides. | | E: Sleeve Length | Measure from the shoulder seam to cuff, if sleeve is desired to be long or short add/remove 1/2" to standard length. Standard length would show up to 1" of shirt cuff. | | | How To Measure Yourself For A Kilt | A: Waist Measurement | Measure around the waist at navel height. Take measurement firmly, so that kilt may sit comfortably without falling down. Do not breathe in or hold stomach in. | | B: Seat Measurement | Measure around the fullest part of seat/hips, place three fingers inside tape to avoid getting this measurement too tight | | C: Length | You will need assistance with this measurement. Kneel down with your chin up and your knees 2" - 3" apart. Do not bend over and watch what is happening. The helper should then measure from your navel to the floor. This should result in the kilt just resting on the tops of the knees. If you desire the kilt to hang slighlty longer, please add 1/2" - 1" to length. | | E: Full height in bare feet | We require your overall height to check that measurements appear correct. Please give your full height from head to foot without shoes on. |
